By May 2009 at the age of 6 Wings had won over £1434 actual £627 notional he won the Equimat Star of the Future 5 year old class at the British Young Horse Champs 2008 and a bonus of £1000. He was also equal first at the same championships as a 4 year old. He was exceptionally consistent jumping many double clears as well as winning and being placed on many occasions. He had jumped himself out of Foxhunters by the time he was 6. Very sadly under veterinary advice we had to retire him from jumping in 2009 due to a neck injury and so he never reached his true potential.
